Asociación Folklórica Virgen de la Candelaria - AFOVIC
We are dedicated to the diffusion of folklore in Peru and the world. Afovic is a young family that has just turned 27 years recently, but eager to be a world leader in Folklore dance. Twenty five competitions in Candelaria festivity reaching to be the champion in the series of Caporales. Candelaria is the biggest religious festivity in the Americas and declared by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Moreover, in carnivals Afovic reached to be champion of champions in the series, including in the ballet contest which is organized in Juliaca Puno, where Afovic stays first place every year.
We are #1 audiovisual production of Caporal in Peru, and world leader. Every year, we innovate to design new dance costumes, new steps and choreographies.
AFOVIC is headquartered in Juliaca - Puno - Peru and we have subsidiaries in various cities.
